MEG VS PREDATOR X

Megalodon was believed to be the biggest carnivorous fish to ever exist. Reaching up to 67 ft, Meg is believed to eat anything coming towards it. Predator X was believed to be the ‘most fearsome animal to ever live in the ocean’ by many articles. However, the competition between Meg and X is not over, the debates are still going on, and I am still at a position to decide who exactly will win. The website www.wikianswers.com stated that megalodon would win the battle due to its larger size and

larger bite force. However, Meg has a relatively small mouth proportional to its body, while I believe Predator X had a bigger mouth, that it can gobble a swimmer easily. Also, predator X had teeth reaching 30 cm in length, while Meg had teeth reaching only 18 cm. However, it is debated whether Meg or predator X won at competing. Though Meg was quite bigger than X, X is a boney animal while Meg is made or cartilage.

Here is the comparison of meg and X

Meg

X

Teeth of 18 cm length

Teeth of 30 cm in length

Estimated length 60 ft

Estimated length 45 ft

Bite force 182 kN

150 kN

Animal made of cartilage

Boney animal

Weight 103000 kg

Weight 45000 kg

Smaller mouth

Bigger mouth

Hunting method: - Biting off a boney part of the prey which is essential for its locomotion and paralyzing it, later eating up the whole animal.

No evidence

Slower than predator X

Faster than Meg

Most of the articles state that predator X was the most fearsome animal to live on earth, but we still have Meg, with a larger bite force and size. So anybody who would like to comment can express what you feel about this.
